With UNESCO Power of Peace Network we have launched a storytelling social community for African Youth call "I am Africa, This is my story..." The site has training material and sample videos from Lesotho on it.
You are free to set up your own groups in the social community and design your own personal web pages. This is a cyber sandbox for African youth. We also work with you schools. We can even link to this site.
This was started from a conversation that African youth are NOT what the International press shows the world. African youth are bright, beautiful and will change the world. This site is yoru chance to demonstrate that.
We should return to Lesotho in June. Please take advantage of this opportunity for youth to speak out.

mlamli

I am a second year student in the University of Stellenbosch.
Thank you for voicing out your opinion mlamli , it truely means and says a lot to me as a young homosexual from the townships of cape town. It is not a storie , rather a reality . I have to mention it to you that it is my very first time coming across a young straight guy especialy from the townships who voices out what they really feel about the LGBT ( lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgener) community, some may say its rather absurd , or worse , think that you are "in the closet" because it is not every day that you hear some straight guy saying positive stuff about the LGBT community. And to what Megan says about that she would like to see all people from different races coming together and sharing their views , as I mentioned before that i am also from the townships . Now what we do there is that we all come together as the LGBT community and we discuss the challenges that we are facing we are currently facing in our communities and try to come up with a solution but it would be better if we had some staight people like mlamli over here to colaborate with so that we could come up with a very concrete solution but as i am am writing this i am sort of running out of time , haha, because i am writing an exam in a few minutes to come , but anyway i really like what you have done mlamli , big up to you bru that you even found the time ........

I have met Ephraim as a very intelligent and warm person. And I certainly hope his dreams come true. Ephraim, if you read this, remember my words: keep learning, don`t forget to study and everything will come together.
All the best for now and later!
