In today’s episode we talk about the vuvuzela, what it is and what it means. We also introduce a Celebration Song which you can use during the 2010 WorldCup in South Africa.
The sentence is (just replace the name of your country that you’re supporting):
Umzansi Awulelanga
Uguqe Ngamadolo
So for the Netherlands for instance:
iHolland Ayilelanga
Iguqe Ngamadolo

A great and informative podcast. I heard that the South African governemnet is thinking about not allowing Vuvuzela at the 2010 world cup. Is that true?

What I have heard is that the Europeans don’t like Vuvuzelas in stadiums, because they make a lot of noise which disrupt the players. But a businessman from Germany ordered about a million of these to give them to their supporters.

Vuvuzela (constant noice)
Is Vuvuzela is not prohibited in stadions during the Soccer World Championchips
in South Africa, the Vuvuzela and the Vuvuzela instrument will ruin, spoil and make
the World Championchips totaly unattractive and an irritation to watch.
Probably the only ones that will feel different about this, is (part of) (the South) African population.
