EACH ONE MUST TEACH ONE

Mfundo Nomnabo is building a brighter FUTURE for the young ones…
South Africa is a struggling in terms of education compared to other countries so that is the reason I decided to help those children who are struggling with their schoolwork and who do not have the same opportunities as this one I have. I am helping these students with their schoolwork and by sharing the knowledge which I have with them. I believe that I know a lot more things than some of them but that doesn’t mean that I’m better than either one of them and we treat one another as one family. The main reason why I started this small Organisation called Each One Must Teach One is because I want to reduce the concentration of violence, crime, drug abuse, and more in my community and South Africa as a whole.

I’m still struggling to get more children in my neighborhood to this organisation but I feed these ones that I have with knowledge. The idea behind this project is to help each and every child in my community and I believe that together, my community and me, we can build a better homeland for all of us and brighten up our community. I’d like to produce teachers, lawyers, and doctor in my community through love, sharing, and caring with in my community.
Some parents believe that I’m an example and a role model for many young ones in my community. To teach children and be good to your community as a whole you first have to show good morals, ethics, and be enthusiastic and if you build that kind of attitude within you I, from experience, promise you that you’ll have a right personality and become a leader for many. To make these children strong through their personal problems I always say to them work like a slave to live like a king tomorrow and I advice you to do the same. Each one must teach one in the whole wide world to construct the world of excellence.

When I was in school( a long time ago) I always got special satisfaction from helping others with their studies. I was doubly blessed because trying to explain something to someone else is a great way to reinforce your own understanding.
Pick a subject to become uniquely proficient in.
Good luck.

mfundo,
An amazing initiative! The name is so apt “Each one should teach one”… It can have an exponential snowball effect. Just what is needed 1st in your community and ultimately in South Africa as a whole. I would be very interested in more stories from you on this. How long have you been busy with this initiative? What would make you more more effective? Whats your current challenges?
Keep up the good work and please keep on sharing you experiences!

Dear Mfundo,
´Each One Should Teach One´, is one of the best phrases and statements I have ever heard. If we would live more according this idea the world truly would be a better place. Therefore, you are an example, Mfundo, not only for your community, but for everyone who takes the time to read your story.
Thank you for your commitment and effort. Thank you for inspiring me.
Take care,
Linda (The Netherlands)

Dear Mfundo!
It’s so great to hear that not only you are enjoying and appreciating your own education, but that you chose to pass the message!! What a great initiative for such a young person.. I really hope that you can share your knowledge and the lessons you’ve learned, because as you said, many in your community are not so fortunate to receive an education at college. The kids you are taking under your wings are really blessed! Please keep us updated on your actions and experiences!
Kind regards,
Klaartje

Each One, Teach One was one of my parents’ favorite expressions. My parents grew up in the 1930s on farms in central Texas in the United States. What a great program. Please keep up the good work.
