MY SCHOOL

My name is Mkhuseli Mpu I am in the best school in Khayelitsha called Cosat.
I started here at COSAT in 2006 doing Maths and Science in Saturday classes. I saw that Cosat is the best school and I wanted to learn here permanently.
I came here because the teachers are doing their job and the learners are hard workers who know what they want in life, and I wanted to work hard.
At COSAT we have access to many things such as Computer Labs where we learn to do computer programming. We do experiments of checking the cells on your mouth, and the experiment of proving whether plant need chlorophyll to photosynthesise or not, we learn a lot.
Some of us are doing Marimba Band, some are learning chess and other different sports as our extra mural which we do after school.
This school is really special because at my previous school we did not have many opportunities like the things that I have mentioned above, and we were not secured as learners because there were students who rob us and give the school information that is private outside the school, and there will be some criminals who break the school.
COSAT has made me see where I’m going because it is making everything clear about education.
“NO EXCUSES JUST SUCCESS” that is what we believe in here in COSAT.
COSAT is ideal because we get 100% rate of metric every year.
And we have disciplined students and educators who work as one family. No one regrets himself or herself for coming here, everyone is exited and happy.

Hi Mkhuseli!
Great to read your story. You did a great job, telling us more about you and COSAT. I love to read your story, it is full of passion.
Do you know already what you want to study/become in the future? What are your dreams?

Hello Mkhuseli
It is a privilege to hear from an ambitious young student in South Africa. we are inspired to know you are striving to get an education. We in this country need to learn what you are up against. Hearing details directly from you helps us to understand. I am sure it is difficult for you to understand how we can have so much and share so little. I find it hard to understand myself, but that is the way the world has been. New leaders will come along to make thing better in the future. Learn to think and learn to speak out and you will share the leadership in the future.
Good luck,

Hi Mkhuseli,
It seems like you are interested in many things. I see computers, poetry and even chemistry! I think you will probably write some great papers about your research projects in the future!
Good luck!
